It all started when Willy who was looking for a breed of dog came across the Larousse dog guide. In there he found an article on the Beauceron and fell straight in love with it. He said to himself this is the dog for me. After having read all the information available on the breed, met a few and thought about it for some time he finally decided to get his first Beauceron.
So in 1975 the first Beauceron arrived. Willy and his wife brought home a small bundle of fur called Zap. Of course once you have one Beauceron it is not long before he is joined by a second then a third and eventually a fourth… Zap did not stay an only child for long he was quickly followed by Nora de la Pleine de Reuilly, and 4 years later by Rhea de la Pleine de Reuilly
The first «du Regard Mordant» litter was born in 1980, following the joining of Zap and Nora.
Thirty years later although Zap and company have long gone the passion still burns strong and the relay has been passed down through generations of Regard Mordant dogs.
